Planting

Superior coffee comes from excellent seeds, so each parchment bean is carefully selected by hand in order to insure that only the best seeds are propagated. The friends and family that plant our seeds have been connected with our plantation for generations. People like Higinio Aguilar (age 60), Guillerma Hernandez (age 55), and Rosa Martinez (age 57) have made a good life on our farm. Our coffee seeds were personally brought from Columbia to El Salvador by my great-great grandfather in 1850. Today we continue to grow the same superb Old Arabicas including Bourbon and Typica.
